How is this different from bleach?
Bleach (sodium hypochlorite) and hypochlorous acid (HOCl) are different compounds with different properties and use profiles.
Bleach solutions are typically alkaline and can have a noticeable odor. Depending on concentration and use conditions, they may require careful handling and ventilation.
HOCl solutions are generated from salt and water and are typically formulated closer to neutral pH. They are commonly used in cleaning and disinfecting products designed for hard, non-porous surfaces.
HOCl-based formulations are often described as having a lower odor profile compared to traditional bleach solutions.
As with any cleaning or disinfecting product, performance and suitability depend on the specific formulation and following label directions.
